During my recent stay at Pousada Castro, I found it to be a hidden gem that perfectly blended charm with comfort. The suite was spacious, featuring a living room and a private entrance, which made me feel right at home; not to mention the flat-screen TV and minibar were excellent for unwinding after a day of exploring. The outdoor swimming pool and terrace offered the perfect setting for relaxed evenings, while the lovely shared lounge was a hit among my travel companions. Located just a short distance from the Old Basilica, the hotel's proximity to local attractions made it a great base for our artistic adventures around town.
